Trace Makes Strategic Hires to Support Coalition Interoperability & Information Sharing

Trace Systems, Inc. is excited to welcome Sandra Jamshidi and Joshua Gillen as leaders in our Information Solutions Group (ISG). Sandra will utilize her extensive background in coalition systems and partnerships to serve as Program Manager, Coalition Interoperability & Information Sharing. Josh will provide essential support as Operations Manager based on his wide-ranging and proven operational experience with the Army.

As a US Navy Information Professional Officer, Sandra served as the CIO/Director Communications and Information Systems for Naval Forces Europe and Africa and served on the Operational Staffs of SIXTH Fleet, Carrier Strike Group Five, and THIRD Fleet. She was the Commanding Officer, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East, Executive Officer, Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station San Diego, and Officer in Charge of Joint Tactical Ground Station Pacific, Korea. Her most recent assignment was in planning and programming the Navy’s Communications, C2, Enterprise Networks afloat and ashore, CND, and Spectrum Management as the Deputy Director, Assured C2 on the Staff of the Deputy CNO for Information Warfare. Since retiring, Sandra consulted as a thought leader and strategic planner in Cyber and IT for Suss Consulting, Inc.

Josh Gillen is a retired U.S. Army Signal Officer with more than 22 years of active service. During his military career, he supported operations around the world, including 3 combat tours, and commanded the U.S. Army’s Headquarters Command Battalion. Josh is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
