Trace Systems is a leader in Enterprise IT services, providing customers with mission critical services across a global scale. At Trace, we understand the challenges and complexities faced by our customers in providing innovative, cost-effective solutions for their employees. We leverage our expertise to reliably manage a full range of Enterprise IT services in a way that is both highly effective and repeatable, as demonstrated by our ISO and CMMI certifications and appraisal.
Trace Systems provides the equipment and training necessary to provide the total solution with full support. Trace delivers global full lifecycle IT systems and services to help our customers effectively and efficiently carry out their missions. Trace’s Enterprise IT services include Asset Management, Engineering and Operations, Help Desk Operations, Data Center Operations, and Virtualization.
Trace takes a multidisciplinary approach in providing full scope Asset Management services. Through systematic management and delivery framework, Trace provides customers with scalable options for all Asset Management needs. As an industry leader in Asset Management, we understand the business practices of our customers to optimize and support our customers’ Asset Management requirements. Trace uses Government order processing systems and is experienced in consolidating multiple gateway, asset tracking, and configuration reports into a single database to create more efficient databases to better track large volumes of assets.
Trace solves the Engineering and Operations needs of our customers by productively monitoring and controlling network management support over computers, telecommunication, and satellite networks. Trace provides broad systems engineering expertise and leadership across technology capability areas including networking (optical transport, multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), IP, timing, and synchronization), unified capabilities (UC) (voice and video), satellite communications (SATCOM) gateways, mobility gateway, operations and management (automated provisioning), and cyber security (internet access and mission partner interface). Trace technology planning, requirement management and analysis, engineering analysis, implementation support, operations support, and transition management affects the entire DISN user base of the DoD enterprise.
Trace provides 24x7x365 global Service Desk Support for Information Technology (IT); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM); Network Operations (NetOps); and Information Assurance (IA) solutions and services to the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Trace has an outstanding reputation providing Tier I, II, and III Service Desk Support to the DoD, ensuring optimal performance and continual functionality of IT systems and related equipment and devices for users worldwide. Our expert service technicians have an intimate understanding of IT hardware, firmware, software, ancillary equipment, and associated electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment to provide high quality support services and fully address and resolve issues as they first arise. Trace’s approach to help desk services and IT Service Management (ITSM) incorporates experience managing some of the most challenging DoD C4IM environments, both in major datacenters such as those operated by DISA and Southwest Asia Cyber Center (SWACC, more recently, USARCC-SWA), as well as within tactical Network Operations Centers (NOC) run by Joint Task Forces (JTF) while deployed in wartime locations such as Iraq and Afghanistan. Trace provides the Government with mature, certified capabilities in support of Help Desk services.
Trace supplies a comprehensive array of Data Center Operations support solutions. Trace optimizes the secure workflow and processes necessary for Data Operations. These support solutions include Consolidation, Reducing Operating Costs, Increased Efficiency, Cabling (Fiber and Copper), Infrastructure (Equipment Installation), Network and Systems Engineering, Virtualization, and Systems Engineering.
Trace provides system installations ranging from the data center down to the end user. Our team is on the forefront of data center installations in multiple OCONUS locations. Trace engineers design and successfully deploy Virtualized Data Center (VDC) solutions to provide secure multi-tenancy “on-demand” services to isolated virtual networking and computing environments. Our VDC solutions use commercial off-the-shelf based software tools that are uniquely configured to those software sets to perform specific functions in the virtualized environment to achieve secure separation. Trace has evolved this solution with a VDC-as-a-Service (VDCaaS) capability for our customers. This offering enables the government to create a private cloud environment to maintain accreditation authority without the significant capital expense to procure cloud capable computer, storage, and network infrastructure.
Trace provides integrative Virtualization support services with the scalability to fit our customers’ needs. These solutions include Storage (SAN/NAS), Active Directory/Exchange, Systems Management (SCOM/SCCM), and Migration (Active Directory) COOP. We offer a responsive, full service support team that satisfies customer requirements, while saving time and funds.
Trace has recently introduced our unique DRIVE (patent pending) solution, a revolutionary approach towards deploying multiple persistent (enduring) and non-persistent (episodic) virtual mission enclaves and multiple virtual COI in a multi-tenant environment. DRIVE hosts a collection of discreet networks using network hypervisor software running Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies for micro-segmentation of the networks, with strong, CSfC-like encryption based on DoD-accepted cyber standards providing assured isolation between the various mission enclaves and COIs. With our DRIVE as a service model, we can create a new persistent or ad hoc COI within hours and be accredited by the customer in a matter of days.
